procrastination

I am quite often the leader in all types of procrastinated delays. Today I went to take pictures of numerous things to post, and magically my sd card is broken =(  Damn you random cheapo company that makes SD cards! pics soon. when I replace it =)

Summer is a time when you daydream about being outside.  When you daydream about a whole slew of things that you can't do.  For me, it's working. I just can't get much work done with the kids out of school!

This weekend however, I hope to have some new pics to post. probably a laptop bag or two, a couple containers, and even a 3ds sleeve!*gasp*

mecha bowser enjoys long walks on the beach, toga parties, and most of all, holding my batteries.

I have this blank area of wall in a room that's really dark, so I'm goign to be making some acrylic paintings with perler sprites to fit in that are.  a set of 4 paintings to brighten it up!

at this point, the lufia frame will have more main characters (I just got lazy) and the zelda frame will be replaced with pokemon =D

Any ideas to improve the design are welcome!

No-Face

Contrary to popular opinion, I've been creating some interesting things lately... but unfortunately I've been tooooo lazy to upload them.  I'll get around to it this week/weekend, and in the meantime I'll leave you with this no-face pouch =D ahhh spirited away, you really are my favorite ghibli movie.

Guess who was just featured in the community section of the June 2012 issue of Nintendo Power!?
While I am excited, it's kind of unfortunate as Mr Wolinsky didn't actually mention "pixel pockets" or the addresses to my blog or etsy store.  I'm quite disappointed as NO ONE CAN FIND ME unless they randomly google Virginia Hagans and hope they find the right one.. *sigh*

Frustration aside, I'm still happy to be in it =)

Metroid - samus container

I've been wanting to make more Metroid stuff for a while, so I stole my husband's notebook on game night and sketched a picture of Samus.  Next think ya know I have this snazzy container...  I was thinking about uploading the original sketch too.. any opinions?

Tyrael bin giveaway

Started working on the Tyrael container that will be part of the SWAGSTRAVIGANZA! giveaway in May.
Check back periodically to find out when it starts (probably april 30th)

Free Stuff!

In the next couple months there will be 4 drawings for free schwag!  The last item to be given away will be a container themed around Ico/Shadow of Colossus.  But in order to give them away, I have to start making them right?  So far I have the beginnings of a windmill.  Yup, you read the right... there will be a windmill on the side of it =)  Hows that for showing off your love of Ico in your livingroom!?!

Assuming all goes well, the windmill will actually turn too!

Other items will be a 3ds Okami sleeve, a Vita sleeve (subject so far, undecided) and an organization bin themed around Diablo!

The drawings will be once a week and span the course of about a month, so keep checking back and tell all your friends about it =)
